Different Dimension Whatever

This is a neon sort of scattered holo, but not really.  More like a neon with holo particles in it, but they are almost frozen.  Basically not a strong holo anything or glitter anything.

This is 2 coats, applied like a dream!  Great color payoff!  This is is a color accurate photo, and this is what the frozen glitter looks like most of the time, not sparkly.

This is three coats.

a-england She Walks in Beauty over Iseult

Love this combination!  If you don't want to risk bald spots with a full coverage glitter like She Walks in Beauty, definitely put it over Iseult, shown here by itself.  Also here is She Walks in Beauty over Lancelot, a dark black red.

Above is one coat on the ring and pinkie and two coats on the index and middle, all over Iseult.

a-england Iseult

OMG!! How pretty is this!  I wore this for a scientific research poster competition, and it just the most delicate shade of pale pink with a bit of shimmer.  A little too pale and therefore noticeable for a very business formal interview or career fair for me, but great for a more business casual than business formal event like a poster symposium where you are networking.

OMG SO PRETTY!!! DROOL!!  Now, for all my gushing over a-england and their incredible consistent formula, this one was a bit sheer, and I did have to use a third coat to make sure I covered all the bald spots.  You could get away with 2 thicker coats if you are a great polisher, but I prefer thinner coats to get it looking good, so I had to do three.  Totally worth it!

a-england She Walks in Beauty over Lancelot

I am going to start off by saying I don't like this look on me, mostly because it makes the gold look very green, like that antique gold look.  I don't like how dark it is either.  Regardless, I got a lot of compliments actually, and I had seen She Walks in Beauty over a dark color somewhere else, so I thought I would give it a try.  I also tried She Walks in Beauty over light pink Iseult, shown here.

This is 2 coats of She Walks in Beauty over Lancelot, but you could definitely just do one coat since it is such a full coverage glitter.

a-england Lancelot

My favorite brand of all time.  Just can't get enough of it.  The incredible application and color payoff is just unmatched by any other brand I have ever tried or owned.  And I own a lot, so trust me on this one.  Consistent formula and highly pigmented, a-england can be bought at Llarowe or Ninja Polish.  She no longer can ship outside of the UK, which is sad since she used to offer free International shipping.  Royal Mail screwed all the nail polish fans over, same with the USPS and all that.  UGGGHH!!

OMG my nails look soo good here!  Too bad they recently broke again.  This is 2 coats, you could totally just do one coat, as with most a-england polishes.

Zoya PixieDust Nyx

Nyx, what kind of name is that?  Seriously, you have a Nyx but not my name?  C'mon Zoya!  Whatevs you're still my fave mainstream brand and you have rad sales all the time!  Who didn't cash in on that Earth Day 50% sale!  What a steal!  I now have over 50 Zoyas, as in I can't buy anymore of their old ones, there is literally nothing else I want from their old lines.  Wow.

Above is Nyx in 2 coats with 2 coats of top coat, which is how I prefer it.

f4polish Rainforest over JulieG Gelato in Venice

Rainforest is a really cool glitter topper with blue and green glitters, some of which are matte glitters.  It is super awesome!  Here it is over JulieG Gelato in Venice.

The picture above shows how I applied it in two coats in a glitter gradient style.  I like this better than just regular glitter coats, which is pictured after the jump!

Smitten Polish Hocus Pocus

This is a new indie brand for me, Smitten Polish, offered at both Llarowe and their Etsy shop.  I am absolutely "smitten" with this polish, Hocus Pocus, and more importantly their gorgeous Adeste Fidelis polish, which is the perfect Valentine's Day polish.  I will have swatches of Adeste Fidelis for you when I wear it next week.

JulieG Gelato in Venice

Today I have JulieG Gelato in Venice.  I bought it to be a replacement for OPI Gargantuan Green Grape, which is one of the worst formulas on a polish I have ever seen. GGG really makes me question every buying OPI again.  If you haven't used it, take my word on it.  It applies with more streaks and less opacity than anything else I have worn.
