I choose the nickel and quarter sizes. I use the larger ones for swatching "top coats" such as glitters, crackles, etc.

I printed the polish info on a return address label and attach it to the bottom of the card before inserting into the pouch.

I insert the card up to where the plastic circle starts then swatch. I swatch the plastic middle. I don't polish the entire plastic middle, the size of the swatch I make is about the size of a fingernail. I can do 20 swatches and set the page aside to dry, then slide the cards all the way in.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17337712770383513727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-352400736917902023.post-59177361420479381322013-04-14T23:33:19.431-04:002013-04-14T23:33:19.431-04:00I love this. Also it leaves room if you wanted to swatch the color over another color.
Super great post... just found it by searching for "organizing nail polish swatches"
LetsEatCakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07741349426181346177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-352400736917902023.post-75233228207533305852013-01-14T04:38:03.006-05:002013-01-14T04:38:03.006-05:00Yah, but you can always do a smaller strip or you ...Yah, but you can always do a smaller strip or you can just do a corner. Also, when you look at multiple coats on a fake nail versus one coat on the card, it is about the same amount. Some of the polishes didn't need very much either since the card stock is white, not clear. Another idea on the issue of size, I found pocket protectors with sleeves that fit business card and ones even smaller that fit coin collections. You can buy business cards readily, and they have these coin holders that you out the coins in that go in the sleeves, so those are both smaller options if you want to try it. I don't think I will ever use all the polish in a bottle, so the amount of polish per card didn't bother me too much in the end. But all together very neat and organized!Lenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00846810164612642981noreply@blogger.com
